I currently have a dwarf fuzzy lionfish in my 30 gallon reef tank. It has been a little over a month and he is doing great and is eating frozen foods. Anyway, I was thinking of adding another fish to get some daytime activity in the tank. I know there are a number of issues with lionfish compatibility and am aware of them. I was just wondering, for a small tank like mine, would it be feasible to add another fish. Initially I was thinking of a large maroon clownfish. Any other suggestions??? A damsel??? A cardinal?? Obviously I dont want to do this if it is going to negatively impact my fuzzy.

AS for tankmates...pretty simple actually
If it fits into its mouth=foods, if it picks on the lionfish or skin=bad.
your clownfish choice is fine, as are larger wrasses, gobies, angels, etc

I actually decided to do a 30g with a dwarf zebra lion. I was thinking maroon clown or maybe a dwarf angel.
