FWD with clam on LR.....

i have a clam that is on a piece of LR that is about 6-7 in. i think the clam needs a FWD, will a FWD harm the piece of LR ?

why do you think it needs a FWD?

how long has it been since the last dip? are you still running carbon, when was the last time you changed it?

last dip was 4-5 weeks ago, yes i am still running carbon and a polly filter pad, i change the carbon about every 2 weeks. it's only this one clam that looks like it has PM.

i would cut the byssal threads and give the clam a 20 min FWD.

i read in another thread you posted that you are running the carbon in a bag in the sump. it would be much much better if you could run it in a canister or or reactor
