FYI - Hydor Koralia Recall

Just noticed this and thought I would post it here. If you have one of the new hydor koralia's (a 2 or 3) you should seriously consider returning them to the place of purchase for a replacement. Apparently there many units were not sealed properly and leak current into the aquarium. It's a safety thing.

Well I am glad it doesn't affect the 1's. I got two of them in my 90.....

How is the flow from the 1's kalied? What could you compare them to? I'm thinking the 4's in a 75, but have no reference.

I got them specifically for the dead spots in my 90. I mounted them on the back glass a little above the top of my live rock and pointed them down at a 30-40 degree angle. They work well for this.

I would compare the flow to a small MJ, but the flow is not a stream. It seems to be kinda random in three to four directions.

The largest (4's) I would think would be like a MJ 1200 or a sieo 820 or larger with dispersed flow.

Daniel my Dad has two 4's that he is putting in a 120, but he has them in his 75 right now its quite a bit of flow perhaps too much but you can fool bouncing it off the glass and make it not to bad im sure. It would definately be SPS prob too much for softies or anything
