FYI - Kolarscape avialble in Horseheads - Big Flats - Elmira Area

I was just at Banfield Baker Garden Center in Horseheads (it might be Elmira Heights) They had half a pallet of Kolarscape Playsand sitting out front.

Been searching RC and have been unable to determine if this is the way to go. Anybody have any good thread links, or better yet first hand experience to share with this newbie?

There are mixed reviews. Some like it, some don't. Some blame it for problems, other say it is OK.

I think it boils down to personal preference. If you like the way it looks, it should work fine. I used it before in my 30g and plan to use it in my new 90g.

There are literally 100's of threads on the stuff along with other similar products.

If the search here at RC isn't working try using Google and restrict the google search to just RC.

In google search for something like:

kolorscape site:www.reefcentral.com

I think the consensus among those who use it is it's fine(safe) as long as you rinse it well. Some find it less asthetically pleasing to the eye
