Galaxia coral

It was proly the hardiest stony i have owned. whatch out for really long sweeper tenticles that will sting the snot out of surrounding corals

I've had one for over 3 years and it's doing just fine, even started growing onto the rock next to where I placed it so now I have 2. I have 1 midway up my tank and the other on the sand in my 55 under 440W VHO. I don't spot-feed them, but they do get to grab what they can get when I feed my fish. Just be careful to leave a lot of room around them as their sweepers can be quite long and sting anything that's nearby

LPS.

As for lighting I keep one that is very happy in my nano with PC lighting. It is fine in low-medium flow. The sweepers are killing several coral at the moment.

Good question. From what I have seen, as far as damage to other corals, I would have to say that it probably would eventually effect aptasia; to what extend I am not sure.

I've got mine on the sand in a 90 gallon, under a 6 Bulb Tek Unit.

I have (2) Vortech MP40W on Lagoon Mode, but it is in a low/medium flow area. I did this because the higher flow tended to cause the sweepers to come out all the time.

Now that I moved it, the coral opens fully... but no sweepers ^_^
