how much light exactly? I have seen them at the lfs under normal coral tank lighting MD but exactly how much light? I just moved mine around.

The galexia corals need high lighting and medium water flow to do fairly well. What type of lighting do you have it under now?

2 150 watt HQI's and about 18 inches away from the lights. Before it was in pretty low lighting and doing well. It was almost to the bottom of the tank and in a cave.

Galaxias thrive under a wide range of lighting. If it was doing well where you had it near the cave It might have been a good idea to leave it there because of the potentially long sweepers it can throw out.

Typically the more flow you give it the longer the sweepers will extend. For this reason I have kept these corals under lower flow conditions. They are very hardy corals and I stock them regularily in the LFS I work for.
