I was reading about the Flower Gardens and came across this site:

They collected eggs during a spawn and grew them into full colonies in a tank! This hobby gets better every day.

WOW! What an ODD location! I wonder how they were discovered? (I'll have to read more later)

Kind of like all those silverback gorilla's that were recently discovered =)

My dad and I were one of the first commercial dive operations to take recreational divers to the Gardens. We took 15-40 divers every weekend weather permitting April-October from1967 to 1979. This was prior to it becoming a Natl. Marine Sanctuary. Talk about a cool job.
