Gaping Causes?

Thanks for your time.

My clam seems to be gaping lately...I'm trying to identify the cause.

Xenia to close - but not touching.
Phosban Reactor?
Alk of 7 DKH?
 
not to steal your thread, but does this clam look like its gaping - mbbuna

true gaping is when the clam loses control of the abductor muscle, the shell will be open wide the mantle will be retracted and the in-current syphon open wide.

what Croceas tend to do isn't really true gaping and isn't much to worry about. when clams hold there in-current syphon open it can be an indicator of some kind of stress(or not). when Croceas do it i don't really worry but when other clams do it i start doing water tests.
