Garf Bonsai

Is this what you are looking for?

If you ever make it to Fort Myers, Boardroom Aquatics has a colony in their display tank. Rich (the owner) will cut frags from the show corals. He's got it pretty low in the tank, so the base is more brown than purple, but it is a GARF Bonsai. The frag I took home is at the top of the tank and is all purple.

Also, I just picked up a huge colony of a Bonsai coral at a local shop. Just keep trying. I have one GARF Bonsai and 3 other Bonsai (no frags yet!).

hexedagain...is that a pic of your bonsai?? Are you willing to frag it?$?

If its still that small, I would guess no. Just curious, but how much does a frag of this run normally?

GARF bonsai usually goes from $40 to $80 bucks, depending on where you get it.....that's for about a 1 inch frag

GARF actually charges 100$ per fragment of their SPS. If you go to the website, they have a form you can fill out to download. SOmetimes they run a buy 5 get one free deal too.

That's the web price, though. I find that if you tank the time to talk to people, you can get a much better deal!

PM sent.
That is my bonsai, and I will be fragging it. Frags will be off of the base, and will not be large. They will not be stupid priced either. LOL.
The first frag has long been promised to someone, but I should have 2 or so extra frags available. I will be cutting tonight or tomorrow, so I will post them when they are cut. Just to show the size of the frags.
I will not sell until they have time to heal.
