Kent Garlic Xtreme works great along with Spectrum thera+A by new life. Feed a couple of times a day the soaked food (small amounts )as long as your fish are eating you should be fine it may take a couple of weeks. I just went through a bout a ich on my sons red sea max we only lost 1 fish. Even after the ich clears up give it at least a month or two before adding any new fish. Have Patience and do salt changes frequently. Good Luck!
To my knowledge there is no study that supports garlic as an effective cure for ich .. the one study that people tend to use actually says the opposite of what many think.
Garlic might be healthy for the fish and stimulate appetite .. same goes for selcon and similar additives. Feeding the fish healthy food should help stimulate/maintain the immune system which in turn may help the fish ward off ich and other diseases.
I know it's supposed to strengthen their immune system, but someone told me you could use it to cure ich...I didn't really believe it but wanted to see if anyone else had heard of such a thing
