Tanks now just 7 months not including cycle. This will be my third system. To say the least this is the first one I've had success with sps and more importantly ACROS my by far favorite genus of coral even before I could keep them. The tank was extremely slow going first 2 months, now I finally feel confident enough to post it here. Some photos are month plus old while others are much more recent. My life support

I run a SRO 1000 skimmer, rkl for heat/cooling and controls BRS doser( single unit) this one unit doses alK I manually dose calc and mag. I also run a RDSB with 8" or so sand 4" so water ran off return pump. I only keep tube nems in there in 100% darkness as also an abyssal zone
