Tank has been running for almost 3 years, never needed a skimmer, I do 5 gallon water changes every month on the tank from my 75 gallon SPS tank, never had any problems with hair algae at all. A lot of coralline algae on back and sides (this is the tank that RichT had trouble with his scraper (sorry Rich  ).

Prefer pickup on the WHOLE setup, not willing to part out at this time, will give easier SPS frags (monti caps/digis) and some GSP for taking everything to try out in this tank (or another).

Also available for sale:

AquaC EVC 120 with speed fitting (calcium reactor effluent or Ozone) and upgraded Mag7 pump, just under a year old, Perfect condition! Original cost is located right HERE, but with Mag5 pump

Minor modifications were attached on skimmer to elevate it because of water level in my sump. Ball valve is included instead of gate valve (needed gate valve for new skimmer) Proof of how old the skimmer is here: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=535632&perpage=25&pagenumber=8 $200

Hey, that was easy.

I guess it was easy. What was it?

Szeth PM'ed me for the tank, I'll see if we can make an arrangement for pickup......

Sorry to chime in on your thread but I'm digging the mag float mod to get coraline of the glass. Where can I get one of those?

Thanks.

Merv, I am in the market for a skimmer for my 28. Would that be overkill? Annddd could that be mounted remotely w/o a sump? I am not to familiar with those skimmers, I was just planning on picking up a remora. thanks!

That's a helluva skimmer to put in a 28 gallon, and YES, it can be hooked up out of sump. I'll have to add a threaded input pipe on the Mag7 so you can hook it up that way, let me know what you decide to do so I can attach a barbed input or a threaded one.

I used that in a 75 gallon, but the skimmer can handle up to 125 as the link recommends.

In my Experience, there is no such thing as overskimming.

your mail box is full so i'll just post the message i was going to send you here.

i think i might have to catch you on one of your early days. all depending on how far you are from me determines on how late is too late.

mailbox cleared-

didn't realize it was full :D

Nick, I live near Stockton College, mile marker 44 on the Garden State Parkway or 15-20 minutes West of Atlantic City. I also live about 6 minutes away from Bob (Ruden) who hosted the second half of last year's November South meeting....
