Back in April 2015 I broke down my aunt's Red Sea MAX 250 (http://www.redseafish.com/max-concept/max-250/). She had the reef tank running for about 2-3 years, but couldn't take it with her as she was moving to Idaho. The tank is in great condition, although there some scratches along the rounded corners of the display where I tried to remove the coralline algae that had developed.
The stand is also in good condition, no noticeable scratches or dings. All of the parts are accounted for, although I did throw out a media bag filled with ceramic beads. I removed all of the sand and rock and cleaned the tank with RO, though it could use a little more TLC in the overflow box.
Currently the tank is just sitting in my garage, but as I may be moving in the near future the tank may come in handy in transporting the livestock in my current 90g. However, as I am looking to possibly upgrade and purchase an Apex controller, and I don't want to break the bank...anymore, I wanted to see if there are any potential buyers out there in need of a plug & play reef system...
I don't have any pictures of the tank as it is wrapped in moving blankets and tucked away as to not suffer any damage from roommates and/or visitors, but the Red Sea website has a video you can watch...
