The 40b has been up and running for quite a while but my ocellaris have always been oblivious of the RBA. I recently ordered a gold banded, should come in on friday and stated that I wanted the smallest one that I could get in order to curb aggression as best as possible.

This thread makes me give up hope for this hobby, husbandry, and people in general.

If you want to throw money away, Ill give you my paypal and you can just transfer it to me.

I'm holding back here, but use some freaking common sense.

Actually, I wouldn't. If you lack the ability to do research, you should not be owning these creatures. Your ignorance is staggering. If you cannot tolerate the truth, fine w/e.

I for one will not tolerate complete disregard and ignorance for the welfare of these animals.

You have 40 gallons for a fish that needs 55 gallons fully grown. Those fish (the occies) need 20 gallons.

Furthermore, if you didn't want the opinion of this community or someone contained within it, don't post here. Simple as that.

My suggestion would be to get some divider. Split off the forty gallon so those fish dont reach each other. Finish the cycle on your 27 and move the occies to that. Leave the Maroon in the 40B and maybe get it a mate.

What fish does he have needs a 55 gallon fully grown?

Yes the mix you are proposing is not going to go well, and it appears you already know this since you have an extra tank for when THINGS probably go wrong aggression wise.

He says the extra tank is cycled so I would just throw the occies in the 27 and get a maroon pair for the 40. You have a nice aquarium btw, and a pair of maroons hosting the bubble would be an amazing sight.

Your aquarium looks pretty new (maybe wrong), and if so I wouldn't be adding sensitive inverts like anemones
