Hey guys...

First and foremost Happy New Year!!!

I got a GBTA from a fellow RC'r a few months back and he's been splitting like crazy. What started off as one is now 6 GBTA's. Since I only need one the rest are up for grabs. I have one i'm holding for another fellow RC'r at the moment so the other 4 are up for grabs.

Let me know if anyone is interested. Also could use some assistance with removal as i've never done that before.

On another note, I'm in need of a fish trap if anyone has or knows of one to borrow. I'd rather not buy one if I don't need to.

I've actually been away on business all week and got back early this morning. Left last Sunday morning with 6 anemones in there and this morning there were only 2 left. One of them looks like its gonna split. I have no clue what happened with the other 4 though. We did lose power Monday afternoon for about 3 hours but I had a battery pump that kicked in. All of my fish are fine so not sure that mattered. Checked my parameters today and everything is OK.

Alk - 8.9
Mg - 1420
Ca - 460
Salinity - 1.026
Phos - 0
Nitrate - 0

My best guess is that either my Foxface ate them? Or maybe snails or crabs got hungry. Just not sure. I did have an auto feeder going dropping flake food so who knows.

Anyways my guess is these guys will continue to split and I'll have more soon hopefully.

are these splits happening when the nems are like a quarter to half dollar? if so, they may be majanos. i had two "gbtas" turn into 8 in 2 months. i had two nuke them!

I'm pretty sure you nailed it and they are majanos. I checked the pics online and they match up well. They seem to split when they are small. I've never had and nem's so not sure what they are supposed to do. What did you do to nuke them?
