gbta with no sting

I dont know if its me or what..but out of curiosity i wanted to see if my gbta's sting hurts i go and touch its tip.....Nothing at all. is there something its missing in its diet.

While I no longer keep BTA's, back when I did I never noticed any pain from when I touched them, so I wouldn't be too worried. As long as it is sticky enough to hold on to food, it should be fine.

I have never been stung by one, but I know someone who had a reaction to his and ended up with a nice rash for a few days, he now wears gloves if he needs to do anything in the tank around his BTA

im glad mine doesnt sting that would making messing around in the tank alot less fun for me

It's more likely to sting the back of your hand than your palm. But you might not even feel that, unless you are allergic of course!
