i just bought a gbta and placed in in the middle of the tank, the nem moved down behind all the rocks and then returned to the front of the tank. My question is will the nem move up higher in the rock if hes needing more light?

I think the number one thing that determines whether a BTA will move or stay is finding an adequate hole in the rock to attach. If they find that, I think they will stay put perhaps even if the lighting is insufficient. What is your lighting system? Tank parameters? Pics?

i have a 48 inch hamilton mh/vho over a 60 gal long 20 inches high.
