Genicanthus angels and acans

I'm completing written off dwarf angels as all the ones I tried nip on my acans. I'm thinking of trying one Genicanthus melanospilos. So with this most reef safe angel, am I safe?

In theory you should be and my genicanthus is safe as houses and doesn't touch a thing, however when i asked a similar question i found plenty of people who had had problems.

From what I've gathered, blackspot swallowtails have had the least complaints of picking, of the rare total cases for genicanthus as a whole. My pair is fine.

The last angel I tried, the Flameback, was in captivity for over 2 yrs and never nipped. Once it got in my tank, it couldn't resist my acan garden. I'm going to give the swallowtail a shot and I'm hoping the fleshy LPS isn't too irresistible to him.
