GEO 618 vs 624

I'm kind of torn as to which Ca reactor to get. I know I want a GEO, but I'm not sure on the size. The tank will be specifically SPS and have a total net water volume of about 350-400 gallons. I know the 616 is supposed to be for up to a 400 gallon tank but I know that a lot of manufactures over-rate their products... The difference in price is $110... Should I just go bigger... or will the 618 be fine.

In my experience GEO doesnt over rate there products....

That said its 616 is rated for a medium stocked tank of up to 400 gallons.


It sounds like your planning a heavily stocked sps tank that is almost 400 gallons, so I would go up 1 size to the 624.
