I have one in my 60g cube and have never had any issues with it, it isn't actually a hawk though. Very shy, only really see it at feeding time. Also have a longnose hawk which is slightly aggressive towards the perchlet (geometric hawk).
no problems, but keep in mind that though small, they will eat or try to eat your shrimp if you have them. I was told they were shrimp safe - years ago, when they were pretty new in the trade... - it had been in my tank not even a minute when it gobbled up a sexy shrimp half his size...
