getting a FREE 300g

its 96x24x30 and made from 3/4" acrylic. The only thing is that I have to move it. How much do you think it weighs? any ideas on how move this thing?

man i wish i could come by a deal like this...i would say get about 4 people to come help you move it.its gonna be heavy.but the good thing is from what i have read,acrylic is lighter than glass.good luck and post pics

Here are some pics. The one thing I don't like is that it has the over dead smack in the middle of the tank. Its upside down in the pics. The tank is a little scratched up but a good buffing should help.

and thats not my garage.

Tank should weigh ~325lbs or so. 2 relatively strong guys should be able to move it *relatively* easily. Through a blanket in the back of a pick-up, pad the front, and off ya go.

I moved my 300 glass and i though I could do it with 4..Not I needed 6 and it was difficult through the door ways. Mine was 30 w so 24 might be a little easier. If you can get more guys it nevers hurts..

I had to move my friends 300... and that statement couldn't be more true. we had 3 guys, it was a pain in the *** and back. more is better

Congrats on the find...

You will be able to move it with 2 strong guys maybe if you were walking through the house you might want 1-2 more but if its already in the garage you will have no problem with only having 2 people.
