Getting back at it....

Good morning, the kids are off to college and I'm looking to get back into the hobby after a 15 year break! I'd like to go smaller than I have in the past, and currently looking at a Waterbox 20 or 35.2. I did search for reviews on this thread, but it didn't return much.

Anybody have feedback on Waterbox? They are expensive, but look incredible.

Thank you! Very excited to get back into it!

Welcome back!

I have no direct experience with Waterbox but I’ve heard they’re built well and can’t say I’ve seen many (if any) issues posted about their tanks

I've also heard nothing but good things about Waterbox.

A cheaper alternative might be a Pro Clear aquarium. I had never heard of this brand before until I found a used ProStar v2 200 (150 gallon tank, 200 gallon system) and purchased it. The tank is built like, well, a tank. Starfire glass, comes with a sump and all plumbing pre-built, auto topoff, and aluminum framed stand with levelling feet. I haven't set it up yet but I am very impressed and they appear to be less expensive that most comparable tanks. The only negative I have so far is they use metric plumbing. I don't want to use the sump that came with it as I want to run the plumbing through the wall into my fish room. So, I'm having to hunt down metric to imperial couplers to modify the plumbing.
