Getting baffles past tank trim(stupid question)

I want to make a sump out of a 29g tank, but I thought of a problem. Once I get the glass baffles cut to the exact width of the tank, will they fit past the trim? Will they still fit if I turn them sideways and then straighten them out once they're past the trim? Thanks

That should work, except you may want to get the bottom corners a little rounded so they will fit over the existing silicone sealant in the tank. It would be better to have it a little smaller than the width, by maybe 1/16" than to rish having it to long and having to get it re-cut, IMO. Gaps can always be filled with silicone.
