Getting fresh air in basement

Remmers

I live in a quad so our basement isnt very big and there are no outside windows.

I want to set up my sump in the basement since the tank will be on the wall where the basement is.

I want to be able to bring fresh air into the area where the sump will be( I plan on making a little room to hide the sump and equipment)

I was thinking of running some pvc out thru the bond and then putting a elbow and strainer on the outside to keep stuff from getting in other then air.

Would this be enough to get fresh air into the sump area, and should I run a air line from the pvc to the skimmer so it is pulling directly from the outside air?

It really is best if you attach the intake directly yo the PVC. You may also want to consider a small exhaust fan to remove the humididty or mold could become a problem.
