Getting my Red haddoni to move

Well, i had posted in another thread about interesting haddoni behavior. Its been a couple of months since i acquired a large red haddoni and since then, my smaller red haddoni came all the way from the other side of my tank to place himself next to him. Well a few days after since that happened, my big red haddoni decided he didnt want to share his space with the smaller one and moved to the back of the tank on a rock, even though i have a DSB.

My question now is, how do i get him to move out of there and come back to the front of the tank? for the last several days, i have a WP25 powerhead pointed right at him and he's still not budging. He's clearly being agitated by the crazy flow on him but he still wont move. How long would it take for him to get irritated enough to move?

Yes, 3 weeks I have a blue haddoni that could just not find a spot. He would sit in a spot for about 3 weeks then move. This went on for about 4 months. Finally, this last 6 week he has found a spot and not move, keeping my fingers crossed. My other haddoni have maybe moved once since being in my tank. And then wandered never more. I hope LOL
most have now been in my tank 2 to 3 years.

I know this sound strange, but I think now I can look at a haddoni in my tank and tell you if he is getting ready to move.

I agree with you that maybe they are just waiting for the tides to change before looking for a new home. As long as they are not really miserable they will wait for a little while. I think that having to move uses a lot of energy.
