"The PROTEUS has a great deal of features to offer. This controller has a single and a dual float assembly that offers complete control. The top float sensor is your high water float sensor if this sensor becomes activated, it will shut down the auto top off circuit and sound the alarm with flashing light.
The bottom float sensor on the dual float assembly is your top off sensor. This is set to where you want to maintain your water level. This sensor activates the 15 amp GFCI receptacle and also activates the blue indicator light to let you know this circuit is active. Just plug your dosing pumps etc into this receptacle.
The single float sensor assembly is your pump protection sensor. Set this float sensor to your low water cut off. This controls the 15 amp GFCI receptacle that you plug your main pumps into. If this sensor is activated it will shut the auto top off circuit and your pump protection circuit down and sound the alarm. This will reset it self when the water is back to normal operating levels.
An Oceanus Systems Auto Top-Off unit will eliminate the need to continuously fill buckets or water jugs to replenish the water in your aquarium or pond."
