getting rid of zoanthids

I have some zoanthids that just don't belong in my tank they are attacked to a large rock with about 40 heads or so and i would rather use the rock for some other corals.So I'm more just asking how do I get zoanthids of the rock without them growing back?

trade it to your lfs or a friend that wants them . I'm sure your lfs will give you a fair replacement rock

sell it, then use the cash to buy yourself some new real estate to place in the tank; and with the leftover cash... buy a happymeal.

what if they don't want it?
I have a rock with a 100 zoas on it, but it's plain green and brown.
Even I don't want them.

Cut that into 10 pieces and sell them for $10 each. Someone will want it. If your close I'll even take some. Add some yellow blue and red zoas to it and call it an m&m rock haha
