Hard to believe for all these years Ive done carbon in media bags... I also only 'relatively' recently started using gfo too. Also in media bags placed in the sump media chamer. Well, I finally broke down and bought a media reactor for gfo and carbon.
My question: should I have a concern at switching into a gfo reactor? Initially use less media? I recall a post where someone went to a reactor and it resulted in shocking their corals... Obviously Im looking to avoid that. Im goign to start off with less gfo than I had in media bags and have it tumble just slightly to be safe...
