i've been looking for one.....liveaquaria.com has them listed as a stocked fish....but then it says this is a seasonal or infrequently available species........i just want to see the what the price would be.....this guy would definitely get a big dedicated tank.....awesome...maybe seahorses and lionfish can mate....we just dont know it

wonder if anyone has had any experince whith them?

I don't believe anyone has successfully kept them long-term. I'd definitely say they shouldn't be attempted unless you have quite a bit of experience with seahorses/pipefish and the feeding/health problems associated with wild caught syngnathids.

I hate being the downer, but I agree with Tom. Even very advanced breeders and pipe/pipehorse keepers arent successful with them. Like I said in the macro forum, you'd almost have an easier time obtaining and keeping seadragons.
