Ghost Skimmer Necessary???

So I have the Innovative Marine Lagoon 25 gallon tank. Unfortunately, the back compartments are pretty small and the only skimmer that'll actually fit back there (While keeping a low profile) seems to be the ghost skimmer. I know I could do HOB skimmer but I feel it just completely ruins the aesthetic appeal of the tank. My tank is mostly SPS so water quality is very important. I've been doing water changes/running chemical media and everything seems to be fine so far. My question is though...do you think the ghost skimmer would be beneficial to have?? I have heard mixed reviews on it like its noisy and doesn't skim well, so I was curious to hear people's opinions. Or should I just skip the skimmer and buy a minimax reactor instead??

If you keep on top of weekly water changes running gfo in a reactor is a good option, i run a hob skimmer on my sps biocube and it removes black gunk weekly. Eye sore but worth it for me. I run gfo only if phos goes above 0.03

here is a photo of the dimensions...

Just do a weekly W/C for couple months and see how it goes. I think it should be fine without a skimmer for small tank. I used to have a 34g with a skimmer in the sump and it starve my sps badly then I took it offline with in weeks my sps coloring back.I would buy the reactor for GFO and run it when phos gets high, other than that just keep it simple and keep up the wc and you'll be fine for sps.
