Giant Cup Mushroom Question

I have a giant cup mushroom that I removed from my main tank and put into my quarantine tank because I now know that they will eat small fish. My lawnmower blenny landed on the mushroom and it started to close up so I scared the blenny away and removed the mushroom to the quarantine tank. The mushroom was doing fine in my quarantine tank for about a week and now it has decided to remove itself from the small rock it was attached to. Does that mean something is wrong with it and how do I get it to reattach to the rock?
Thanks.

I don't think a mushroom will eat your LMB.

But I also have clownfish in the tank and I would rather be safe than sorry.

That's very scary for sure. Just copied this from Live Aquaria. Don't know what to tell you at this point.... :(

"It is considered semi-aggressive and requires adequate space between itself and other corals. When a fish brushes against it, it forms a ball around the fish, from which the fish generally cannot escape. Since it eats fish, it is best kept in its own aquarium that has a sandy bottom and large rocks."

I have some in my tank that are huge, they do try and close up arround food but they close slowly mine take arround 20-30 seconds to close up all the way. I have 6 fish in my 55 gal and have never lost any or any of my shrimp for that matter. You should be fie unless you have some very slow fish.
