gigas growth

how fast do they grow and what type of lighting

seen oe i want but want to check first

Last Christmas I got a Gigas that was about 1". Now It is almost 4 inches. I read that if you provide everything they need they can grow about a half inch a month. I have mine under 175 watt Metal Halides.

Go for a derasa maybe- they get to @ 20" or so as opposed to the gigas which can get over 36"....WAY over! Check this one out!

I got one tree weeks ago and I can see growth! when it gets big I'll just sell it
