whats the best treatment for suspected gill flukes?

Do a fresh water bath for 6 minutes. Look in the bucket for the flukes that fall off. They look like contact lenses, about the size of a bb. Then use PraziPro from Hikari. Do 3 treatments over the span of 21 days, no more flukes. Pm me if you need more info

Thanks Laura, I have, Im not even sure thats the problem.

Fish doc, thanks. the fish I have in qt are 8 chromis, a small blonde naso and 3 ignitus anthias. Im wary about the anthias and the fw dip..

You can use Prazi-Pro for a longer treatment period, or you could do frequent Formalin bathes. Gill and body flukes are one of the easier parasitic issues to deal with. You can do FW dips, but that doesn't guarantee that it will kill any eggs left in the gills. Good Luck.
