I just bought an 860 gallon long acrylic tank. does anyone know any good sites for equipment to handle that size of a system? I have tried to look, and can not find anything. :D

You also may want to look at some of the modular systems like Lifeguard. In line series of filters/uv/reactors.

Or possibly the echosystem type filtration. Several of these can handle up to and over 1000 gallon systems.

thanks for the info. I also appriciate the consern. Although, I am well versed in marine setups. I was simply looking for some good sites to shop.

I do have to ask,

What type of system are you setting up? Reef / mixed reef / FOWLR, etc... your sig shows a Fish Only tank which would be a completly diffrent setup then a reef of that size.

What are you going to use for sump and return pump?

Its hard to answer the question without knowing what you want to do with your beast. :)

BTW: How much did it set you back?

for a reef, you need flow, lights, refuge and skimmer

Flow:
a minimum of the TurbelleÃ"šÃ‚® stream Kit TS48
I would however look at getting the 6200's instead of the 6100's as the diffrence is around $400-500 and would be cheaper then having to sell and re-buy later on.

Lights:
Depends on your tank specs, but I would "think" 4+ 400w MH

Skimmer:
I agree, go with the AP1003

Refuge:
Look around, there are so many large refuge setups around here you could set something up fairly cheap.
