GIRS Fall Fest 2008

The Greater Iowa Reef Society presents Fall Fest 2008! This year's festivities will be held at the Isle of Capri Convention Center in Bettendorf, IA on November 15, 2008. Show hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are featuring nationally and internationally renowned speakers, free giveaways, raffle prizes, fragging demos and frag sales from vendors and hobbyists.

Speakers include the following:

Just an FYI to everyone, the board reviewed the admission pricing and made some changes in an effort to really make the event affordable for all types of attendees.

The Fall Fest website has been updated with all of the latest information.

If you have been thinking of selling at the Frag Fest there are now more reasons then ever to register.

Fall Fest seller set up on Friday night.

To accomodate those that have a long drive we will be setting up for the Fall Fest on Friday night. This will allow you to set up your sales tank the night before. This will allow your corals to settle in & look their best in the morning for some great sales.

You will have to provide your tank, heater, light, & power head. We will provide premixed saltwater donated by Carib Sea.

The room will be locked during the night to ensure the safety or your possesions, however GIRS can assume no resposibility for any losses you may have.

Reduced admission prices.

You can register early & pay only $30. This will include admission to all speakers & you will receive 5 free raffle tickets, if you are a member of GIRS you will receive an additional 5 tickets for a total of 10 free raffle tickets.

This event is shaping up nicely and you are going to want to be a part of it...
We still have seller spots available....and a GREAT raffle line up.

Pre-registration discount is only available until October 15th. Please make plans to come down to the Quad Cities and spend the day with us...

The convention center will be available on Friday evening for early setup for vendors and sellers.

Just as an FYI to everyone, the period for the Pre-registraiton discount has expired, but we have re-opened the pre-registration system at the normal admission prices.

So...

If you don't want to mess with cash at the door, you can still pre-register ahead of time (Plus you'll get a nice pre-printed badge).
