Glass cleaners?

I have a small handfull of Trochus snails in my 40g, around 5-8, but they never touch my glass. I will see them on the glass once in a while, very rare though. They are nocturnal and stay on my rocks. I am looking for some "daytime" active snails that will clean the glass, Im tired of cleaning because Trochus are to lazy . any sugestions?

My small black turbos are good about cleaning the glass.

my astrea/ moon snails are always on the glass...

trochus are the ones i need to clean my rocks then eh?

ceriths and nassarius work both my glass and sand.

i just picked up two trochus and two margarita snails...and they seem to clean the glass and sand...

no i have a whole wack of glass and sand cleaners...and still noone likes my rocks...LOL

also my nassarius and cerith snails are always on the glass...especially after i feed the tank...they come out pick up the left overs then with new found energy they clean the glass..

i wonder if it is bad to have five different types of snails in a twenty gallon tank..

I wouldn't buy margarita snails. The majority of them come from northern california water and die in 3-4 months in our warmer water systems. My nerites spend most of their time on the glass, but you have to be careful. Some that you buy are intertidal and may try to climb out, some aren't.
