Glass cutting shops in Bham

Anyone know of a place that is fast about cutting small glass that iwll fit in a tank for a sump.

I took a tank to Steel City Glass in Fairfield about 2.5 weeks ago now and they still have not even started on it. I find it hard to believe that it takes that long to cut 4 small pieces of glass. I went back up there on friday the 10th and they haven't even measured or called me to ask a question about it. It seems whenever I call to ask a question there is always an excuse. Somehow today the guy said it should be done but they all happen to get the Flu on the same day so not a person was there but the receptionist. Hmmm They quoted me $18 for the work but heck I would have paid $40 now just to have the work done. So if you need glass cut for any reason stay away from this company !

If anyone has gotten glass cut in the Birmingham area and was satisfied let me know who so I can get my tank from this company and get the work done elsewhere.

Go to Alabama Glass in Pelham. They're kinda arrogant simply because a small job like that is nothing to them so they'll rape you for the money. (i.e. $25 for a bulk head hole) but they are one of the only people around.

A friend of mine recommended me to a place just off I59 in bessemer, but I havent checked them out yet. They are supposed to be right off the 18th st exit. I havent looked them up yet, but they should be in the phone book.
