Glass for sump in Rochester

I'm looking for a place to cut a few planes of glass for baffles in a sump I am making. Can anyone recommend a place in Rochester? I could even cut myself if I could find glass big enough.

Thanks for your help!

I just siliconed two pieces together from Lowes. Works well and they cut it for free. it took a lot of force to break them once siliconed together

I just got some glass cut at Mr. Glass on Main St. It was much cheaper than the quote I got from Flower City Glass.

I'm going to go with Mr. Glass. They have a shop downtown and are affiliated with Nu-Look collision so I was going to see if I could pick it up at one of those locations. I called and got a quote, but because I have swiss cheese brain, I can't remember what it was. I want to say it was around $30 for 5 plates, but don't quote me on that.

Ha! We posted at the same time! Flower City was $22 for EACH pane! Oy!

Not sure where in Rochester you are, but if you're near the west side, Chark's glass in Bergen does great work and is quite inexpensive.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not sure what you mean by doubling up, but I will check Lowes. Home Depot did not have glass. I need 1/8" thick by approximately 17 x 10". Otherwise it sounds like Mr Glass is the place to go. Thanks for the help.

lowes sells glass. they sell 3/32 thickness.

doubling up - sandwich some silicone between two pieces of glass so that the stick together. the 3/32 and even 1/8 is pretty thin glass.

i used to have a picture of all the glass prices and sizes at lowes. its not on my photo bucket account though for some reason.

i used Ray Sands in Chili they were super quick same day and cheap. I have used them twice. Second time they didn't have them ready in time when they said to pick them up so they gave them to me for Free for waiting. I was shocked. Amazing customer service and a solid product.
