glass pricing ?

how much is glass? I ned to put some baffles in my 29 to make it a sump.

last time I went to home depot... I think it could have been lowe's... they dont cut glass any more. They can sell it but all they had was thin stuff that would be used in a picture frame. When I made mine i got it from Ace.

i went to lowes about 1 or 2 month sago and they cut glass for me, but i recommend using a normal fish tank for a sump, i have a 29 gal prop tank as well, and i just took a 10 gallon tank and had glass cut for the walls on the inside and siliconed them in. The reason i suggest this, is that they can only cut/carry like 1/10 inch glass or something insanly thin like that. And obviously if you use glass that thing, the chance of breakage is high. And i dont believe its tempered.

For my sumps i've just gotten acrylic sheet , then cut it too size. Then silicone to hold it in place.

I used the acrylic once before and the silicone doesnt hold it nearly as wella as glass.

I went to HD today. Their only glass is very thin, like 1/8". I'll call a glass shop tomorrow. I need glass to section off my 125 sump/fuge.
