Glass Tank Repair?

One of the seals on my 120 AGA is questionable and I am considering having the front pane resealed. I might even have it replaced with Starfire at the same time.

Can anyone recommend a local shop that will reseal the glass? Is this type of work normally guaranteed?

Is Keith Grant still working on tanks? Last I heard he was doing it as more or less a side job. Either way, he would be the one to talk to on what you need. I know Paul B has his contact info.

Thanks, Mike. I'll keep him in mind. I am hoping to find an actual business that will guarantee the work, but if such guarantees don't exist, then Keith might be my best bet (depending on his workload). I'm looking for a quick turn around.

No one is going to Guarantee it and for the price your going to pay it may not be worth it. FWIW you could always just reseal it yourself.

You may find someone like Kieth that may gaurantee it for you. Or I'm sure one of the DIY masterminds here could help!!

I had Keith reseal a 220!!! We took the entire pane off and then he sealed it back on. To date the seal is as good as new. Good luck with a gaurantee, no one can guarantee a tank they didn't build from scratch. If you want Keith's # shoot me a pm
