GLTA not "unbleaching"

About a year ago I had one of my ballasts go out on my tank which took almost 2 months to get fixed (Damn warrenties). Anyway, when I did get it back and working it caused my LTA to bleach due to light shock. He of coarse now sits in the shade under a rock overhang. It has been almost a year now and he still is white and still is in the shade. He is getting smaller. I dont feed him because he normally doesnt take anything (never did even when had color). My tank has been up for a couple of years, I had him for at least 6 months before he bleached, and he seems to be fine otherwise even tho he never really opens up like my others. My tank is a 150 with 3 x 250 mh's. Anything I can do because I feel he is just going to shrink down and disappear.

Only thing I can suggest, is to start feeding it. Soak its food in selcon or feed it seafood that has a lot of omega 3 fatty acids in it. Like chopped up silversides or raw fresh fish from the ocean. My LTA seems to really like marine cuisine, squid, raw shrimp and every once in a great while I feed it a very small chunk of sushi grade tuna. If yours will take food, I'm sure it will greatly appreciate it. If they are healthy, a lot of anemones will do fine with just light. If you want your anemone to grow it needs food.
