glue, eggcrate, pvc

I am planning a rescape and want to put eggcrate down then 3 in pvc the the rock. Holes for flow.

Then i may glue some rock in strategic areas (I still want to be able to remove). Super glue on rock with 2 part epoxy putty then superglue then rock again.

What do you think?

Zipties

Cover zipties with rock or sand, over glue.
