Gobie/shrimp? Stonogobiops yasha

Hello, Is 3.0mm grain sand be to large for a gobie and shrimp pair. the substrate in question is CaribSea Hawaiian black.

No body has any experience with this sand or similar grain size sand with gobies.

I was planning on getting a Yasha...but once I saw one in person I realized just how small they are. Worried they'll get "lost" even in my modest tank.

How big are yours? About the thickness of a chopstick?

They are about 50mm 2" and probably the width of a chopstick. They are a small fish but great characters especially when the randalls is out and about.
