Goby and Pistol Shrimp Pairing...

So I rescently purchased a pistol shrimp and a shrimp goby. I did not buy them as an already formed pair in the hopes that they would just pair up on their own in my tank. Does anyone have any experience with trying to pair these up rather then paying what I think is a ridiculous price for an already formed pair? Has anyone done it my way and had success? How long did it take for them to pair up if they ever did?

What type of pistol and goby are they?

Red Banded Goby and a normal pistol shrimp. Not a tiger pistol.

Not to sound off topic but saw on Animal Planet that the pistol shrimp is the number 1 loudest animal at 200decibels per snap.

Is there any other type of shrimp that forms a relationship with a goby that isn't so loud?

i bought my watchman Before my pistol shrimp. (about 3 months before) wht i did was . i released the shrimp right next to the hole where my goby lives. and the next day.....................I saw them together like they knw eachother for years
