I fed my yellow watchman goby his usual weekly shrimp pellet and its been an hour and he has still not swallowed it! Hes breathing slowly and it seems stuck in his through! How should i try and get it out?
I would think the pellet would break apart. I don't think attempting to grab it out would work.
What happened? Is the blenny ok?
FYI - fish breathe differently than we do - they breathe out of their gills, so an obstruction in their throat does not block their breathing.
ahaha.. yeah.. fish can't "choke"..
or drown for that matter..
Lol, but i have heard of someone looseing a yellow tang to nori by choking.
