Goby suggestions

Im looking for a goby that is reef safe and pairs with a pistol that doesnt kick up a bunch of sand.

Recommendations?

Also something that isnt so blah looking.

I like the YWG. Brightly colored and does not kick up sand.

I don't think it exists. The shrimp is what makes the mess.

I just dont want corals to get covered in sand

I have a Pink Spotted Watchman that pretty much just hangs out near his rock. He's pretty, and doesn't dig except for the sand behind his rock. Hasn't paired with two pistol shrimps I've tried so far, but I believe that is unusual for them.

DD has a nice Randal with a shrimp right now.
I have a pair and love them. A pair of Yashas is always nice as well.

My yellow watchman goby doesn't dig at all. But that candy cane pistol can move some sand. And he will bury any frag he can drag.

The "reason" gobies and pistol shrimp form a commensal relationship is that pistol shrimp see poorly, if at all, and gobies cannot dig homes. No pistol shrimp, no mess.
