i'm just flat out sick and tired of paying for phytoplankton. so jeri and i set up our lil farm today. starting out with an f2 single stain nano for now and soon will be bringing rotofiers into the mix. as usual jeri has done all the research and has gone sterilizing happy in prep for our 10 pm start time. i built the farm station in a temp design until i see what our needs and requirements are. but i'm procuring all the stainless steel sheet and tube i need for the final design. its really cool the things you can find at the laboratory supply co her co uses

Sweet. Keep us posted on how this works out for you. I think I remember a member or 2 doing this a couple years ago. I could be wrong on that and there may be other club members doing it currently.

I knew Richard Prince and a few others were able to do this with good success.If it works well I would love to learn more on it and have a meeting on it.

Hey Mike! lmk when your ready for some rotofers I've got some going right now and doing well. I was doing the phyto for awhile but it grew too fast for my usage on the old 65gl. I might could use it now. Good luck and keep us posted.
