Scott, you're attention to detail inspired me to follow suit, I was able to get 8 over my 300. You can see how I built it and there's also a video showcasing the glide action, light Build starts at post 180.

Your Wire track is slick, and I like how you have it move out of your way. Are your lights angled in at all? I found that 3 to 5 degree tilt keeps the light more in the center of the tank off the glass and evened out my par more uniform in the tank. Very nice!
