Going to Madison this summer, is there anything interesting up there?

I am looking for a cool day trip-like place to go to, like an aquaculturing facility, or BIG aquarium store or breeding facility...i realy dont know what is up there, but if anyone can give some suggesstions, that would be great. It would have to be in or near Madison though...
