goniopora help

i just purchased a wonderful goniopora from my LFS for a fair price. i'm aware that these are difficult to keep for an extended period of time, but i just had to give it a shot because it is so marvelous looking in my tank. does anyone have any hints or suggestions that might make this a success? also, i was not given many details about how much flow/lighting it likes, or what specifically to feed it

Most likely it will die and pollute your water.... often causing system crashes and loss of otherwise healthy corals and fish.

I hate to be negative but I wouldn't recommend these even to experienced reefers who knew what they were getting into.

Ahh I wouldn't worry about a tank crash.
If they die they die slowly from lack of food.

I have two Goni's dying err uhh I mean living in my system.
Green Goni I burnt under my 250w MH so the center is gone but he's coming back.
Red Goni seems to be doing well since I put him on the bottom right away.
Seems to be taking the oyster eggs well that I've been target feeding him.

ok that gives me some encouragement! i have compact flourecents and most of the flow is near the top of my tank so i have him up there right now
